Organizing Committee of EXPOMIN 2016 meets to finalize details of the main mining exhibition in Latin America
In order to refine details of what will be the most important mining fair of Latin America, which will take place between the 25th and 29th of April at Espacio Riesco, the Organizing Committee of EXPOMIN 2016 held its fourth meeting in the Ministry of Mining.
The meeting was headed by the Undersecretary of Mining, Ignacio Moreno, who made an analysis of the scenario in which this event dedicated to the main productive sector of the country will take place.
In that sense, Moreno explained that “while it is a complex time, we must be able to convey that this is part of the cycle and that the industry will move forward and continue growing not only in the extractive sphere, as we have plenty of room to grow in the development of innovation in the field”.
Among the entities involved in the Organizing Committee of EXPOMINI are included the Ministry of Mining, Cochilco, Enami, Sernageomin, the National Mining Society (Sonami), the Mining Counsil, Aprimin, Cesco, ProChile, CieChile, Codelco, Sofofa and Minnovex and Editec.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director of EXPOMIN, Carlos Parada, affirmed a positive mining exhibition, because “today we are generating a renewed proposal of the industry, products with an important innovation share and they are shown in this space”.
He also indicated that EXPOMIN 2016 expects to present an interesting growth with more than 1, 700 suppliers of technologies that will be participating as exhibitors and over 80, 000 professional visitors from around the world in an event that will bring together the major players in the mining industry.
