The GL events Group, in its commitment to promote sustainable development through its Think Green program, will present a pavilion focused on sustainability and reduction of environmental impact through innovation. With the aim of promoting environmental responsibility, the International Fair of Santiago (FISA) will have the Green Expo Pavilion, a space designed for large, medium and small companies to present the latest in innovation, technology and solutions, in order to curb climate change. Through the Think Green program, the roadmap of the country’s leading events organizer, the pavilion will seek to raise awareness of pollution, promote sustainability and encourage the reduction of society’s carbon footprint, encouraging the development and adoption of a more environmentally friendly strategy through the correct reduction of waste, increased use of renewable energy and recycling in all its forms. Visitors will also learn about examples of green business models, capable of achieving a smarter, more efficient and sustainable industry, with positive results that, in some cases, means greater customer proximity, given the preference of consumers for products and services designed under the concept of circular economy. In the place, people will find photovoltaic panels for domestic use, solar sanitary energy, solar lights, waste recycling models, methods for the reuse of materials, domestic gray water treatment, sustainable construction and composting system, among others. The manager of GL events, Francisco Sotomayor, stated that “although in this space you will find a line of products and services focused on environmental responsibility, it will be the ideal place for promoters of the green industry to connect with thousands of companies and national and international visitors. It will be a great opportunity for companies to move towards a more responsible development as the axis of change. The Green Expo pavilion will promote the efficient use of water, solar energy, recovering the land and taking advantage of the air, as well as responsible waste management, specifically focused on reducing, reusing and recycling different types of materials, seeking to raise awareness and educate the community. FISA FAIR This year FISA, as a fair organizer, celebrates 60 years of history, and will resume the organization of the 38th Edition of the International Fair of Santiago, rescuing the spirit, history, culture, and presenting again a variety of activities and entertainment. As the first and only multi-sector event in the history of Chile, it will return to the capital after 24 years, between November 16 and 20, 2022, estimating the arrival of more than 50 thousand people. For five days and in more than 60 thousand square meters, the fairgrounds will bring together through thematic pavilions the international presence of countries, national institutions, products manufactured in Chile, and spaces for sustainability and recycling, inviting children and adults to participate in sports and outdoor activities. All of this will be accompanied by gastronomy and typical dances, entertainment and shows for all ages.
