FISA, the main organizer of economic fairs and congresses in Chile, presents its 2023 Events Portfolio.

In the premises of Metropolitan Santiago, and as a celebration, the executive director of GL events Chile, Francisco Sotomayor, together with his main collaborators, officially launched the portfolio of Fisa’s trade fairs for the year 2023, highlighting the impact and development that trade fair events will bring to the country. Currently, Fisa holds more than 80% of the business fair market in Chile, annually summoning more than 700 thousand visitors, over 2 thousand exhibitors and more than 5 thousand brands from 60 countries. “Each year, Fisa presents various international meetings associated with the main sectors of the economy, in order to strengthen trade relations, bring the dialogue between the public and private world, and promote the transfer of technologies and knowledge for Chile and Latin America. In this way, by bringing together the entire value chain in the same place, we continue to promote the interaction of supply and demand, giving strength to the country’s economic development”, said the executive director, Francisco Sotomayor. He added that “in this way, we want to continue to promote Chile in 2023 as a country that promotes world-class economic tourism and trade fairs, informing the population about the challenges, opportunities and contributions that are achieved in favor of each sector”. This year, Fisa reaffirmed its commitment to bring people together face to face, through corporate and social events, fairs and congresses, promoting economic development, entrepreneurship, innovation, giving importance to sustainability, care for the environment and the development of communities. The new trade fair calendar includes the programming of 10 trade fairs for the year 2023: AquaSur Tech (March 29-30): Meeting designed to convene the technological and knowledge vanguard around the aquaculture industry, seeking to generate a frontier Networking that brings together suppliers, producers and users around a Workshop with companies, presenting pilots and cutting-edge technologies. It will also include a congress to address transformational aquaculture in three lines of work: Regional development and socio-ecological planning around the ocean; connectivity, logistics and entrepreneurship; and sustainable management of the oceans and climate change. Expomin (April 24-27): The largest international meeting in Latin America dedicated to the mining sector, will bring together mining companies, suppliers of high technological capacity, start up and key institutions of the mining ecosystem. With the presence of more than one thousand exhibitors from 35 countries, including Germany, France, Canada, Australia, Peru, the United States, Spain and Brazil, among others, it is expected to attract more than 50 thousand professional visitors. It is also projected that more than US$ 1 billion in business will be transacted during the event. Hyvolution Chile (June 28-30): First version in Chile of the largest international exhibition of the Energy and Green Hydrogen industry in the world that will gather in this new version -for the first time in the continent- the main exponents of the energy, industry and hydrogen mobility sectors at international level, bringing together the entire value chain, being the most relevant space that the region will have to promote renewable energies. Trans-Port (July 11-13): The fair and international congress is a space designed to facilitate the acquisition of new knowledge and make international trends known. Likewise, it supports the relationship between companies, the dissemination of public policies, accelerate innovation processes, and encourage the generation of new business in the maritime-port industry, both nationally and internationally. Expo Vivienda (August): Expo Vivienda is the most important real estate fair in Chile, where real estate companies, construction companies, financial institutions, management companies and services related to new housing meet annually to exhibit their projects and services. The exhibition has an offer of more than 20 thousand homes between UF 1200 and UF 10,000, with and without subsidy in different districts and regions of the country. CfiAgrotech (September 05 – 07): The most important international exhibition and congress in the agri-food world, CFIAgrotech, will be held for the first time in Chile in 10 thousand square meters of exhibition space, where more than 300 exhibitors and sponsors representing more than 20 countries will participate, bringing together in one place the supply and demand of the agri-food industry. It will also showcase the country’s achievements and production capacity, contributing to the attraction of new sources of financing and national and international players. Expo Hospital (September 12-14): The main healthcare industry in Chile and abroad will meet again at Expo Hospital 2023, a space designed for commercial exchange, the introduction of new technologies, and the debate on the advances and challenges that today are presented in medicine at a global level. The largest healthcare meeting in Chile is a commercial and strategic space for the private, academic and public worlds, where the latest trends in the healthcare industry will be analyzed. Expo Hospital will also present more than 500 brands from Chile and abroad. Security Expo (October 05-07): The meeting will present an exhibition with a wide range of technological solutions for the sector and innovations that will seek to develop the security-related market. Its fair will cover 20 thousand square meters of exhibition space, will bring together more than 200 exhibiting companies representing 25 countries, and will provide a privileged space for commercial exchange, the introduction of new technologies and the improvement of productivity in the execution and operation of projects related to defense and security. Fisa 2023 Fair (November 15-19): The first and only multi-sector event in the history of Chile, will return once again to Santiago, bringing together through thematic pavilions the international presence of countries, national institutions, products manufactured in Chile, and spaces for sustainability and recycling, inviting children and adults to participate in sports and outdoor activities. All within a framework of celebration, accompanied by gastronomy, typical dances, entertainment and a grill of shows for all ages. Lantern Festival (December): The festival of lights, “Lantern Festival”, presents the history and ancient culture of China through the paths of its provinces with its treasures, classified as World Heritage by Unesco, its folklore and traditions. The exhibition will be composed of creations and sculptures of lights and monumental lanterns, originality, technical mastery and a scenography developed by a hundred artisans and designers from the Asian country. The executive director of GL events Chile, Francisco Sotomayor, emphasized that “we take with much humility, but also with great pride this new challenge 2023, to continue connecting people, to meet face to face thousands of people, which is of great importance for us as for the whole country”. Sotomayor concluded by stating that “we will continue to present international fairs and congresses, seeking to promote trade, create jobs, and contribute to the economic reactivation of the country through new businesses and the interconnection between the various economic areas, both nationally and internationally”.
